It's Never Too Early for Santa

When I was at the Maine Quilt Show in Augusta this summer, I found a Santa panel at one of the vendors, the Pickering Farm Quilt Shop, that was just so cute that I had to buy it.

The panel is made by Clothworks . I used 4 of the Santas, combined with the One Big Star pattern by Pieced Tree Patterns, plus some new and stash fabrics, and in very little time created the 20" x 20" table toppers.

The Santa is the centre for the large star which came together pretty quickly.

Of course I used my loop de loop free motion quilting design...it is just so easy and gives such great texture.

Not much of a labor of love, 'cause you know how much I love Santas!

It's a great day for quilting!

  18. Hi Lesley. You have been very busy with the quilt show during August. Thank you for sharing photos of the wonderful display. Such a lot of inspiration. And I agree that any time is a good time for Santas. I can see why that panel appealed to you. The table toppers look great.
